Lentil seeds are quick to germinate and sprouts are ready to to eat in as little as 2 days. How to germinate lentils?

Here’s how you do it:

  1. Place 150g red lentils in your glass sprouter and rinse to clean.
  2. Add around 1/2 a cup of water and soak for 4 hours.
  3. Drain out the water, wash again and leave to drain for 4 hours.
  4. Rinse and drain red lentils again and repeat 2-3 times a day.
  5. Sprouts will emerge between 1-2 days.
  6. Continue to rinse and drain 2-3 times a day until harvest.
  7. Red lentil sprouts will be ready to eat in approximately 2-3 days.
