Blue Pea Sprouting Seeds
If you were hoping to see 'blue' pea seeds, you may be disappointed! These pea seeds were so named for the bright blue flower that is produced when these seeds are grown to maturity.
Blue pea seeds are actually green in colour and can be sprouted and ready to eat in just 2-3 days. They produce a sweet, crunchy and nutritious shoot that are rich in vitamins and minerals. They can be grown together with other sprouting seeds such as chickpeas, adzuki beans, mung beans and lentils which sprout in the same length of time. Sprout combos are great as a snack and can easily be added to most cold and warm meals – use them in soups, stir-fries and omelettes or include them as a side serving to a main. Don’t be afraid to experiment! Our pea seeds can also be grown to full maturity.
