As most people know, rye grain is often milled into flour and used to make bread and other baked goods. But did you know that sprouting rye is more nutritious and better for you than non-sprouting rye? This is because seeds that can be sprouted are still living and contain a life force. Sprouted rye seed has an earthy nutty flavour and can be eaten in sandwiches or salads. To access the energy trapped inside, the seed is soaked in water which activates the seed and sprouts will be ready in 2-3 days.

Our Organic rye grain seeds can be milled, sprouted, grown as a microgreen (grass) or to full maturity.
