Important Precautionary Advisory – Australian Wheatgrass Seed Products

Why this advisory has been issued

A concern was raised regarding the possibility that seed treatment may have occurred at some point in the supply chain. While this has not been confirmed, there is insufficient information available to immediately confirm or dismiss the concern.

In line with best practice and our duty of care, we have initiated independent laboratory testing and issued this precautionary advisory to ensure the safety of all consumers and supply chain partners.

At this stage, no contamination has been confirmed, and there have been no reports of illness linked to our products. However, until testing is complete and results are verified, the use of all seed products supplied by us is temporarily paused as a precaution.

Who this advisory applies to

This notice is being issued broadly to ensure it reaches all customers who may have purchased our seed products, including:

  • Retail customers (home growers, consumers)

  • Resellers and retailers (wholesale or repackaging)

  • Restaurants and cafes (food service use)

  • Growers and producers (commercial or personal)

  • Distributors and wholesalers

What you should do (Immediate actions)

If you still hold seed stock:

  • Do not consume, plant, sprout, or grow any remaining seeds

  • Do not sell or distribute any remaining stock

  • Retain any remaining dry seeds securely stored and clearly labelled until further notice

If seeds have already been soaked or sprouted:

  • Dispose of any soaked or sprouted seeds immediately

If seeds have been grown:

  • If you have grown produce from these seeds, you may continue to consume what has already been harvested, but please do not use any remaining seed stock until testing is complete.

To help us confirm that this notice has reached all customers, please confirm receipt of this advisory and advise whether you currently hold any remaining seed stock supplied by us.
