Description

Oregano Seeds For Growing Herbs

No kitchen is complete without oregano, which is known for its strong and peppery flavour. It is commonly used in Italian, Mexican and Greek cuisine and can be used either fresh or dried. You may hear it referred to as the pizza herb due to how often it’s added to this dish.

Oregano seeds can take between 85-100 days to reach maturity and can grow up to 60cm in height. The herb is wiry and wild and has dark green leaves. This aromatic herb can be smelt from quite a distance, making it a welcome addition to your garden or home. It is very easy to care for, can be grown indoors or outdoors and as it is native to hot regions, it thrives in dry conditions.
