Organic Oat Groats – The Whole Grain Goodness You’ll Love

Looking for a nutrient-packed, minimally processed whole grain? Our organic oat groats are the real deal – just whole oat kernels with the inedible hull removed, keeping all the good stuff intact. Perfect for cooking, sprouting, or even milling your own flour, these Aussie-grown groats are as versatile as they are wholesome.

Why You’ll Love Our Organic Oat Groats

Unlike your average rolled oats, our organic oat groats are raw and untouched by heavy processing. That means they retain their natural bran, germ, and endosperm – all the bits that make oats so good for you. Packed with fibre and nutrients, they’re a brilliant base for everything from hearty porridge to homemade oat flour.

And here’s a bonus – because they’re raw, you can sprout them! Sprouted oats are easier to digest and packed with even more nutritional goodness. Whether you’re into live-food diets or just love experimenting in the kitchen, these groats have got you covered.

Top Features

  • 100% organic – grown right here in Australia
  • Whole grain goodness – nothing removed but the inedible hull
  • Perfect for sprouting – great for live-food enthusiasts
  • Versatile – cook ‘em, grind ‘em, or sprout ‘em
  • High germination rate (80%) – great for sprouting success

How to Use Your Oat Groats

These beauties are seriously flexible. Soak them overnight for a chewy addition to salads, cook them up for a nutty porridge, or grind them into fresh flour. Want to get fancy? Try sprouting them for a nutrition boost – they’re perfect for microgreens too!

However you use them, you’re getting all the benefits of whole grain oats in their purest form. No additives, no processing – just simple, wholesome goodness.

About Our Sprouting Seeds

Most sprouting seeds are ready to eat in 3–7 days, depending on the variety.

Our seeds are high-quality, non-GMO, and untreated. Some varieties are certified organic — check the product page for details.

If you’re new to sprouting, some of the easiest and most rewarding seeds are broccoli, alfalfa, chickpeas, and radish. These sprout quickly (usually within 3–6 days) and add fresh flavour and nutrition to everyday meals.

For a leafy texture, sprout broccoli, alfalfa, clover and radish — you can even mix them together for a tasty, well-balanced blend.

For a crunchier, protein-rich sprout, try chickpeas, red lentils, and blue peas. Sprout tails appear within 24 hours, and they’re ready to eat in just 2–3 days, depending on how developed you prefer them.

Whether sprouted separately or in mixes, these beginner-friendly seeds are quick to grow, versatile, and full of nutrients.

No — you don’t need any fancy equipment. Our sprouting seeds can be grown in a simple glass jar with a mesh lid or even a clean kitchen sieve. All you need is fresh water, room temperature, and a little patience.

If you’d like to make it easier, we also offer sprouting jars and wheatgrass kits that are designed to give the best airflow and drainage, but they’re optional. Many of our customers start with just a jar and then upgrade later once they’re hooked on sprouting! For
