Alfalfa sprouts are full of vitamins and minerals, and are extremely low in calories. They taste great on their own, in a salad or on a sandwich and can also be mixed with other seeds and sprouted together. Create your own sprout mix! You can combine alfalfa, broccoli, radish, garlic chives and red clover seeds in whatever ratios you like.
Alfalfa sprouts take approximately 5 days from seed to sprout. Growing alfalfa sprouts is safe and simple, and good quality seeds are essential. Our alfalfa seeds are sourced from an accredited seed supplier, they are Australian grown and have been tested for high germination as well as phytosanitary testing for safety.

How do I grow alfalfa sprouts at home?
Here’s what you need to do:
- Rinse and clean 2 tbsp of alfalfa seeds and place in glass sprouter.
- Add ½ cup of water and soak for 4 hours.
- Drain the seeds and let sit for 4 hours.
- Rinse and drain alfalfa seeds and repeat 2-3 times a day until harvest.
- Sprouts will start to form after 2-3 days and be ready to eat in 5-6 days.
