Description
Green Shiso Microgreen Seeds
Green shiso (also known as perilla) is a perennial herb with a flavour that's hard to describe. It is commonly used in Japanese cuisine and is slightly spicy with hints of cinnamon. As a microgreen, shiso has round cotyledons and its true leaves are serrated.
To grow shiso microgreens you must first soak the seeds in water for at least 12 hours. Then spread shiso seeds over your grow media and cover them with a tray. Mist seeds twice a day and after 5 days remove the cover tray. Begin to bottom feed once seeds have fully germinated.
Our green shiso seeds can also be grown to full maturity.
