Description

Green Sorrel Microgreen Seeds

Sorrel is a perennial herb but is often grown in small pots as a microgreen. From seed to finish, sorrel microgreens are ready for harvest in 30 days. They are used primarily as a garnish and have a tangy lemon taste.

Compared to conventional microgreens which are usually sown quite thick, sorrel seeds are planted quite sparsely. When planting sorrel, use 20-30 seeds in a standard microgreen pot (10cm diameter). Cover the seeds lightly with vermiculite or coco fibre and mist twice a day while germinating. Continue to mist daily whilst seedlings establish and stop misting when they reach 2cm in height. Now begin to bottom feed and continue until ready for harvest.

Our sorrel seeds can also be grown to full maturity.
