Please Note: We No Longer Sell Pre-packed Alfalfa & Garlic Onion Chive Sprouts

Grow Your Own Alfalfa & Garlic Onion Chive Sprouts

This tasty blend of alfalfa with a hint of garlic and onion is perfect for adding zing to everyday meals. Fresh, crisp, and nutrient-packed, these sprouts are simple to grow in a jar or sprouter and ready to harvest in just 5–7 days.

Why You’ll Love Growing Them

  • Classic alfalfa freshness with a subtle savoury kick.
  • Versatile — add to salads, wraps, sandwiches, or top your stir-fries.
  • Always fresh — harvest as you need them, no more wilted packs.
  • Affordable — one packet of seeds produces multiple batches.

How to Grow

  1. Soak your seeds overnight.
  2. Rinse and drain daily in a sprouting jar or tray.
  3. Harvest within a week for crunchy, flavourful sprouts.

Sprouts & Microgreens FAQ

No — Australian Wheatgrass no longer grows or delivers fresh sprouts and microgreens.

We decided to focus fully on supplying high-quality sprouting seeds, microgreen seeds, and grow kits so that customers can enjoy growing their own fresh produce at home.

Yes — while we no longer deliver them fresh, you can purchase the same seeds we used to grow. This means you can still enjoy alfalfa, broccoli, radish, wheatgrass, and many other varieties by growing them yourself.

Instead of delivering fresh sprouts and microgreens, we now offer complete growing solutions — including sprouting jars, wheatgrass kits, coco fibre blocks, microgreen trays and a range of microgreen and sprouting seeds. With these, you can grow your own fresh, nutrient-packed sprouts and microgreens at home, whenever you like.

Not at all. Most varieties are ready in less than a week, and we provide easy step-by-step instructions. Many customers find growing at home even more convenient than waiting for deliveries.
